Christmas' Most Important Element: LOVE

Christmas is coming again. But do we know why we give gifts or give Christmas letters? What is the real essence of Christmas?

Christmas is the holiday when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and it's the time ti give love. Love is the most important element of Christmas. Even we don't have any gifts to receive, if we feel that someone is loving us, it is better. In the present life, I know that our pockets can't avail high-priced gifts. I suggest, in just a simple thing or gift to give, if e put love on it, surely the person who would receive it will totally love your gift to him/her. In Christmas song, "Give Love on Christmas Day," it explains more why love is the true essence of Christmas.

I'm A Part Of It!: Filipino-Values Month Celebration

Filipino-Values Month Celebration is the time where students develop their skills in dancing, singing, poster-making, kite flying and more! The theme for this month is "PAGPAPATIBAY NG PAGKATAONG PILIPINO: TUGON SA HAMON NG PANAHON." In this theme, it only tell that in every tragedy or challenges, FILIPINOS are still strong to face it. An example of it was when typhoon Ondoy came and destroyed many properties like:

*CROPS

*HOUSES

*and LIVES!!!

But in spite of those challenges, FILIPINOS still by the help of each other by donations like rice, goods, shirts, money and more!!! This only prove that FILIPINOS are really a strong nationality by showing bayanihan.

"My Perceptions and Insights in our Second Grading"

In the second quarter of our school year, good and interesting things fabricate in my mind and it helps me a lot in doing our activities. I learned how to use html tags in using the Notepad. "It's very hard." That's
what I said before doing any activities but I realized, it's just a matter of typing and memorizing tags and.... bwalah!!! It's perfectly done so good.

Many activities regarding to many clubs in our campus damaged our lessons and supposed to be "discussions" in class. In having our T.L.E. class, first period in the morning, we can hardly discuss about the topics to be discussed by our teacher. It is because in having our flag ceremony, many programs, announcements and more are being done and it can interrupt our first period classes.

But inspite of hecticness of our schedule, we learned a lot in second grading period. And I expect to have more lessons for us to learned in our third quarter of our school year!!!

Our Second Parents:"TEACHERS"

How did a doctor become a doctor? How did a lawyer become a lawyer? how did an engineer become an engineer? These questions only have a one answer. An answer that all of us know. And it is because of teachers. Teachers play a vital role in developing the minds of every student they teach. Teaching is not only their work. They advise us. They become one of our friends and they are our second parents.

I read this poem and it is very good. This is for all the teachers.

Wonderful Teacher

With a special gift for learning
And with a heart that deeply cares,
You add a lot of love
To everything yo
u share,
And even though
You mean a lot,
You'll never know how much,
For you helped
To change the world
Through every life
you touched.
You sparked the creativity
In the students whom you taught,
And helped them strive for goals
That could not be bought,
You are such a
special teacher
That no words can truly tell
However much you're valued
For the work you do so well.

"Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development"

The question is, "how can I adapt myself to varied science cultures for a developed nation?

I can adapt myself to varied science cultures for the development of our nation by doing the 3R's (reuse, recycle, reduce), by helping the government and supporting their activities regarding in protecting our Mother Earth, by planting trees and by projecting that our nature is important for us because we can be easily recommended in international events concerning in natural resources. An example of these is "New 7 Natural Wonders of the World." Many of our natural resources are nominated to it. This is just one of the example we can be proud of. But what are we doing? We are damaging or even destroying our ecosystem. Can't we think of what will be the product of the activities which are bad? Think of it and realize that our environment is really important and in danger.

Plant a tree.

Feel the heartbeat of our Mother Earth.

Don't let it die because we will be the one who will suffer.
Protecting our nature from flash floods, mudslide, landslide, soil erosion and mostly from global warming is everyone's role in preserving our environment and let us do it for our ALMIGHTY GOD.

"Filipino Dialect: From Baler to the Entire Philippines"

Do you have any experiences in going to other places with another language? How did you communicate well? What did you learn on that situation? What comes to your mind of that experience? Yes, I know what your thinking. That Filipino language is important in communicating to others. That's true! but do you know where this came from?

Ilocano
, Cebuano, Pangasinense, Ilonggo, Bicolano, Waray, Capangpangan are some of the many languages in the Philippines. But all of these are united with only one language. It is the Filipino language which we have as our own and this is the national language of our country.

During Spanish period, Dr. Jose Rizal wants that Philippines must have an own language because he don't want for the Filipinos to have unity and freedom.

Why do you need to vote?

It's election time! It's the time to meddle! Many are saying, "Why should I vote even the candidates are the same? They will promise but it won't come true. They will only use the our taxes just to become richer and richer. There's no hope for us." But hope is with us. There is, if you just join. There is, if you just be an instrument of change. There is hope if you just use your vote in a good way.

Let's not be 'easy-to-get' for the words by others that 'there's nothing will be done there'. Just think if that attitude will be the attitudes of all! In that way, there's nothing will be done! In the first place, each vote is powerful. It can change a country. Just imagine of 50 million votes with care will be as one. Philippines will be a systematize country. Is it, that because corrupt candidates buy it? This kind of candidates are the candidates for us not to vote because from the start, they are the enemy of our country. Don't dare to sell your vote because if you do, your just like selling your soul. But you have integrity isn't it? Tell and believe that your not a simple Filipino citizen. A Filipino citizen that won't sell the future of our country, and the future of your family. A Filipino citizen that has a hope, has a belief that Philippines has still hope. We can rise from a lying country., we can change if we want to.

How much does your vote very important? It is not only an obligation of being a Filipino. It is not only registering, falling in line in voting centers, pencil and paper, indelible ink in our fingers. Your vote is your voice. It is your chance to evince in your self that your have the right to talk, to think, and choose orderly. Your vote is your humanity. Your vote is your reputation and your strength which is equal to anyone. One citizen, one vote! And if all of us will vote, we can talk about what we feel by more Filipino, the majority.

In the First Quarter of my TLE subject

I encountered many things to learn and discoveries in our first grading period. One of this is the history of INTERNET. We learned and get aware of the 'past' of internet. Internet is now a useful source that many students and even teachers use to get information and data for their assignments, projects, research works etc. I also learned that in making or creating 'internet', many lives are sacrificed and I can say that it is worth it.

I'm enjoying learning these kinds of information to add to my knowledge but there are also some problems. In using the computers, I encountered one. It is the quality of the computers. I am not saying that it is not useful but it is just too old for us to use. In problems regarding in our class, the problem is, we cannot move comfortably because of the narrowness of our classroom. For now, these two are just the problems I encountered but in speaking of challenges, I am not really so good or I am not very familiar with internet.

In every problems,
there is always solutions. In solving these problems, I would rather cooperate for us to move freely. I will also behave myself next time,
mini
mize my pretty loud voice during the class and most of all, I will listen to my teacher more than chatting to my seatmates to be able to focus in the lesson that
my teacher is teaching us.

In our next grading period, I will do my
best to have a high grade and I
will be more active and attentive in class.
For the things I don't know yet, I will ask for help for me to do and finish my work faster and even earlier to the deadline.

These are the things I can say about our TLE subject. I like it, I love it, and even get t
o addicted to it!!!
